Data Deletion Instructions

Option 1 — Disconnect a single social account

If you only want to remove the data tied to a specific Facebook Page or Instagram account:

1. Sign in to planpo.st and open the Connections page.
2. Find the account you want to disconnect and click Disconnect.
3. We immediately revoke the access token with Meta and delete the token, account metadata, and cached insights from our database.

Option 2 — Delete your full planpo.st account

To delete your entire account, including all connected social accounts, drafts, scheduled posts, analytics history, and uploaded media:

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Scroll to Danger zone and click Delete account.
3. Confirm the deletion. The action is irreversible.

Most data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Financial records (invoices, subscription history) may be retained up to 7 years where required by tax and accounting law, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Option 3 — Submit a Facebook Data Deletion Request

Per Meta Platform Terms, you can request deletion directly from Facebook without signing in to planpo.st:

1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
2. Find planpo.st in the list of connected apps and click Remove.
3. In the confirmation dialog, check the box for Send a request to delete your data.
4. Facebook forwards a signed request to our servers. We delete the associated tokens and account data within 24 hours and return a confirmation code visible at /data-deletion?code=<code>.

Option 4 — Email request

You can email us at hello@planpo.st with the subject line "Delete my data" from the address associated with your account. We will action the request within 30 days and send you a confirmation when it is complete.

What gets deleted

• OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens for connected Meta accounts
• Page / Instagram account IDs, usernames, and cached profile metadata
• Drafts, scheduled posts, and publishing history
• Cached insights and analytics tied to your accounts
• Uploaded media in your asset library
• Account profile, team membership, and preferences

What we may retain

• Anonymised, aggregated usage metrics that cannot be tied back to you.
• Stripe payment records and invoices, retained for up to 7 years as required by tax and accounting law.
• Logs containing request IDs but no personal data, retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention.
